About the Role
IAG is seeking a dynamic Agile Delivery Lead to drive business and technology strategies, leading a high-performing team. This role champions Agile ways of working, partnering with stakeholders to deliver impactful, technology-enabled outcomes and foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
Responsibilities
- Lead teams to deliver continuous, high-quality outcomes with a strong focus on customer value and efficient workflow.
- Coach teams in Agile practices to improve maturity, resilience, and overall performance.
- Manage people responsibilities, including development, performance, and day-to-day leadership.
- Ensure transparency by providing visibility of delivery progress to key milestones and maintain delivery flight plans.
- Remove roadblocks using technical and functional expertise, while identifying and escalating delivery risks.
- Coordinate dependencies across teams and support planning with accurate estimates and resource inputs.
- Build high-performing teams by fostering continuous improvement, supporting decision-making, and minimizing distractions.
- Collaborate with product owners and stakeholders to align delivery with strategy.
- Collaborate with Iteration managers to plan delivery, manage demand, capacity and resourcing.
- Contribute to quarterly planning processes.
- Ensure platform reliability and performance through adherence to engineering standards and release governance.
Requirements
- Strong involvement in Agile communities including delivery expertise via the practical application of Agile principles.
- Strong experience collaborating with partners and suppliers.
- Skilled in workforce planning, budgeting, forecasting, and managing multiple teams under tight deadlines.
- Excellent communication, facilitation, relationship-building, and negotiation abilities.
- Proven people leadership with experience building high-performing, collaborative teams and mentoring Agile practices.
- Deep understanding of enterprise software development lifecycle, with the ability to apply it in Agile environments.
- A continuous improvement mindset using data to drive and demonstrate efficiency gains.
- Relevant qualifications and certifications (e.g., Scrum Master/Project Manager/Scaled Agile) with at least 5 years’ hands-on experience in a Delivery and People Leadership role.
