About the Role
The Foster Care Team Leader provides leadership and oversight of casework services, carer support, and the Family Contact Worker team to ensure the needs of young people, families, and carers are met, while maintaining compliance with community expectations, state government requirements, and relevant legislation.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage foster care team performance
- Improve processes for carer support and casework
- Monitor and ensure compliance with case documentation
- Build internal and external stakeholder relationships
- Respond to incidents and oversee service contracts
Requirements
- 5+ years in therapeutic or family-based care
- 3+ years in leadership within child/family services
- Proven supervision and reflective practice skills
- Strong knowledge of child protection legislation
- Direct experience supporting complex young people
- Current unrestricted driver’s licence and probity clearances

Salary/Compensations
