About the Role

The Director of Operations is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the prestigious luxury high-rise association, Millennium Tower, located in San Francisco, CA. This role ensures seamless delivery of luxury services to residents and requires a strong background in luxury hotel or hotel residences, with a particular focus on rooms division operations. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional leadership skills, a keen eye for detail, and a commitment to delivering exceptional service.

Responsibilities

  • Manage all aspects of the property's operations, including security, valet, concierge, and housekeeping.
  • Actively participate in all appropriate operations committees, Board meetings, and preventative maintenance programs/initiatives.
  • Lead and develop a high-performing team, providing training, coaching, and performance management based on Forbes standards.
  • Ensure a consistently high level of resident and guest satisfaction through exceptional service delivery.
  • Develop and manage operations within the budget.
  • Oversee vendor relationships and contracts to optimize costs and service quality.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable regulations and safety standards.
  • Oversee renovation and improvement projects.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of Director-level experience in luxury hotel or hotel residence operations, with a focus on Rooms Division (Forbes experience).
  • Strong leadership and management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in Buildinglink, ADP, MS Office applications such as Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays.
  • M100 and CMCA certificates are desired.
  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
