About the Role
The Director of Operations is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the prestigious luxury high-rise association, Millennium Tower, located in San Francisco, CA. This role ensures seamless delivery of luxury services to residents and requires a strong background in luxury hotel or hotel residences, with a particular focus on rooms division operations. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional leadership skills, a keen eye for detail, and a commitment to delivering exceptional service.
Responsibilities
- Manage all aspects of the property's operations, including security, valet, concierge, and housekeeping.
- Actively participate in all appropriate operations committees, Board meetings, and preventative maintenance programs/initiatives.
- Lead and develop a high-performing team, providing training, coaching, and performance management based on Forbes standards.
- Ensure a consistently high level of resident and guest satisfaction through exceptional service delivery.
- Develop and manage operations within the budget.
- Oversee vendor relationships and contracts to optimize costs and service quality.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable regulations and safety standards.
- Oversee renovation and improvement projects.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of Director-level experience in luxury hotel or hotel residence operations, with a focus on Rooms Division (Forbes experience).
- Strong leadership and management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Buildinglink, ADP, MS Office applications such as Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint.
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays.
- M100 and CMCA certificates are desired.
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
