About the Role
Serves as the subject matter expert for PMO and Project Controls, leading high‑performing teams to deliver best‑in‑class services. Drives excellence in client engagement, champions industry collaboration and ensures Mace’s offerings consistently exceed expectations, strengthen market presence and outperform competitors across assigned hubs.
Responsibilities
- Champion Safety First, ensuring exceptional safety, quality and compliance while fostering an inclusive, supportive environment.
- Lead key assignments with strategic clarity, delivering best‑in‑class PMO and Project Controls services and strong client engagement.
- Uphold ethical, fiscally responsible operations and help shape long‑term functional strategy.
- Develop and empower teams through coaching, knowledge sharing and proactive talent growth.
- Leads PMO and Project Controls performance across assigned hubs, ensuring best‑practice and ISO‑aligned delivery.
- Acts as subject matter expert, providing specialist guidance and technical leadership, including digital services.
- Builds strong client relationships, offering expert support across hubs and exceeding expectations.
- Champions net‑zero objectives and role‑models high standards, mentoring and developing others.
Requirements
- Experience delivering major rail or high‑speed programmes, ideally within the design or early set‑up stages.
- Proven PMO and Project Controls leadership on major programmes.
- Strong commercial, financial and risk management expertise, including advanced digital tools.
- Experienced stakeholder leader with deep sector knowledge and sustainability awareness.
