About the Role
The Fuentes Firm is seeking an experienced attorney in the Austin area to handle a dynamic docket of civil litigation matters, primarily commercial auto liability and trucking accident defense cases. This role offers hands-on training in trial-tested litigation methodology and the opportunity to work alongside recognized leaders in Texas transportation defense.
Responsibilities
- Handle a dynamic docket of civil litigation matters, primarily commercial auto liability and trucking accident defense cases
- Take and defend depositions, argue motions, and attend court appearances
- Work closely with clients, insurers, and team members to develop case strategies
- Prepare cases for trial and participate as first- or second-chair
Requirements
- Licensed Texas attorney with insurance defense litigation experience
- Demonstrated deposition and trial experience — first-chair preferred
- Commercial transportation or trucking defense background a strong plus
- Ability to manage docket independently from day one

Salary/Compensations
- $130,000 to $225,000 per year
- Monthly and quarterly billable hour bonuses of up to $20,000 or more annually for attorneys meeting a 150-hour/month pace
