About the Role
Join HGA’s Washington, DC Interior Design team to contribute to innovative, human-centered environments. This role involves supporting architectural and interior design efforts from concept development through construction administration, translating client needs into thoughtful design solutions.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with architects and interior designers to establish design concepts based on programming requirements.
- Prepare plans, renderings, sketches, and visual aids for presentations.
- Research, select, and specify materials to meet design and technical requirements.
- Work on diverse project types and scales.
- Execute technical aspects of the interior design process from project setup to construction administration.
- Assist with furniture planning, design, and specification.
- Develop concepts for artwork and environmental graphics.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree from an accredited Interior Design, Interior Architecture, or related program.
- 1 to 3 years of professional experience.
- Proficiency in Revit.
- Fluent knowledge of Microsoft Office suite.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong problem-solving, critical thinking, and attention to detail.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines.
