About the Role

Join HGA’s Washington, DC Interior Design team to contribute to innovative, human-centered environments. This role involves supporting architectural and interior design efforts from concept development through construction administration, translating client needs into thoughtful design solutions.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with architects and interior designers to establish design concepts based on programming requirements.
• Prepare plans, renderings, sketches, and visual aids for presentations.
• Research, select, and specify materials to meet design and technical requirements.
• Work on diverse project types and scales.
• Execute technical aspects of the interior design process from project setup to construction administration.
• Assist with furniture planning, design, and specification.
• Develop concepts for artwork and environmental graphics.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree from an accredited Interior Design, Interior Architecture, or related program.
• 1 to 3 years of professional experience.
• Proficiency in Revit.
• Fluent knowledge of Microsoft Office suite.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong problem-solving, critical thinking, and attention to detail.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
• Ability to manage multiple deadlines.
• Submission of resume and portfolio.
