About the Role

Cotality is seeking a Principal Business Analyst to join the Corporate Systems team. This role is responsible for the integrity and success of the company's technical ecosystem, leading large-scale migration projects, and serving as an authority on functional capability and standards. The ideal candidate will bridge the gap between business strategy and technical execution, with a proactive leadership mindset, deep Salesforce expertise, and a passion for mentoring junior analysts.

Responsibilities

  • Managing large-scale system and data migration projects to ensure cohesive and future-proof solutions.
  • Refining user stories and technical tickets with deep detail, including problem statements, acceptance criteria, and high-level solutions.
  • Partnering with internal stakeholders and offshore teams to provide senior-level context for seamless technical delivery.
  • Analysing current BA lifecycles to proactively identify and implement automation and process improvements.
  • Acting as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) to support Salesforce design and align platform capabilities with business objectives.
  • Coordinating change management strategies and documentation to support smooth system transitions for users.

Requirements

  • Formal qualifications in IT or a related discipline.
  • Extensive, proven experience leading enterprise-level migrations and complex system integrations.
  • Expert-level understanding of Salesforce capabilities, configuration, and technical debt prevention guardrails.
  • A proven track record of translating high-level business strategy into highly actionable, granular user stories and documentation.
  • Demonstrated experience mentoring junior or offshore analysts and maintaining rigorous quality standards.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, paired with excellent organizational and time management capabilities.
  • Demonstrated experience implementing automated workflows across the business analysis lifecycle.
  • Comfort in translating complex technical ecosystems into clear business language for senior stakeholders.
