About the Role
As a Staff Developer Advocate, you will drive developer engagement by creating high-quality technical content, building community programs, and serving as a trusted voice for the Workato ecosystem. You will own the technical demo library, advocate for developer feedback internally, and represent the company at industry events.
Responsibilities
- Create sample projects, tutorials, videos, blog posts, and livestreams demonstrating developer capabilities.
- Inspire developers with relevant and engaging content.
- Build and scale developer programs including ambassador initiatives and webinar series.
- Speak at first-party and third-party events and developer meetups.
- Host workshops for community and internal customer groups.
- Develop and maintain a trusted community voice.
- Collect and advocate for developer feedback internally.
- Design, build, and maintain a technical sample and demo library.
- Contribute code and documentation to open-source repositories.
Requirements
- 10+ years of combined software engineering and developer relations experience.
- Track record of owning programs end-to-end.
- Proficiency in Python or TypeScript.
- Familiarity with LangChain-style frameworks.
- Strong demo and content-creation skills including code samples, videos, and technical tutorials.
- Demonstrated ability to connect advocacy work to business outcomes such as pipeline, adoption, or product direction.
- Passionate teacher dedicated to helping others succeed.
- Clear communicator comfortable on stage or camera.
- Collaborative, low-ego attitude.
