About the Role
Serve as the first point of contact for patients seeking Physical Therapy services, managing front office duties including phones, scheduling, and insurance verification. Ensure patients have an exceptional experience from the moment they enter the center.
Responsibilities
- Greet and register patients, providing information about their visit and next appointment.
- Schedule patient appointments in person and via phone.
- Communicate regularly with attorney offices, insurance companies, translation companies, market operational leaders, and the business development team.
- Collect co-pays, manage payer approvals, and conduct insurance authorizations and verifications.
Requirements
- Ability to walk, stand, bend, and reach consistently.
- Appropriate manual dexterity for typing and 10-key use.
- Ability to lift up to 25lbs safely.
- Ability to carry office supplies up to 10lbs.
- Sufficient visual acuity for record maintenance and recognizing people.
- Ability to speak and hear sufficiently for understanding and giving directions.
