About the Role

Manage a profitable and growing suite of commercial lending solutions that serve financial institutions and other commercial lenders to manage risk, compliance, and efficiency. The goal is to grow this business by building new service offerings and penetrating new market segments.

Responsibilities

  • Optimize current product offerings and leverage new product opportunities.
  • Evaluate options for new solution sets and operationalize them.
  • Strengthen underperforming customer segments and identify new customer segments.
  • Collaborate with marketing to develop value proposition communications.
  • Ensure sales and service teams are prepared to represent the brand and strengthen customer relationships.
  • Direct the product's lifecycle from launch through decline.
  • Monitor, analyze, and manage current product performance against business objectives.
  • Support sales efforts with product highlights and sales strategies.
  • Own and drive the overall customer experience by partnering with sales and IT.
  • Build deep expertise of financial services customer needs and problems.
  • Perform in-depth customer and market research.
  • Interact with target markets through customer visits, calls, and industry events.
  • Conduct ongoing research and analysis on assigned products.
  • Map existing products and services to changing customer needs and industry trends.
  • Study the competition to understand strengths, weaknesses, and competitive advantages.
  • Manage the discovery and validation of market opportunities and needs.
  • Generate new product and service concepts to support business strategy.
  • Develop business cases and presentations for new product concepts.
  • Establish marketing programs for new products or enhancements, including market segments, positioning, pricing, and profitability.
  • Identify new distribution channels and coordinate product introduction.
  • Serve as the subject matter expert for new product value propositions.
  • Assist with training sales teams on prospecting, qualifying, demonstrating value, and closing sales.
  • Assist sales leadership with plans that drive sales results.
  • Develop and maintain deep knowledge of the core business, market opportunity, customer profile, competitive landscape, and market trends.
  • Utilize customer insights analyses for optimizing market positions.
  • Develop Go-To-Market (GTM) strategies.
  • Work closely with internal stakeholders to understand market perception and recommend enhancements.
  • Create or update tools and training for sales and support teams.
  • Ensure adequate sales and marketing efforts to meet profitability and market share forecasts.
  • Develop extension strategies to prolong product growth and maturity stages.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5+ years of software product management experience.
  • Experience in analysis and business case development.
  • Experience developing presentations for Senior Management.
  • Go-To-Market experience.
  • Candidates must participate in interviews without the assistance of AI tools or external prompts.

  • In-person interviews are part of the hiring process.
