About the Role

Ambrook is rebuilding the financial infrastructure for American family-run businesses, offering modern tools for accounting, banking, and spending to improve profitability and resilience. You will own product design, autonomously building and implementing your designs, leveraging AI tools and coding agents.

Responsibilities

• Own product design at Ambrook.
• Build designs into the product autonomously.
• Prototype in code and open a PR.
• Integrate with customers and experts to find untapped product opportunities.
• Take an idea from a sketch to a working prototype to a shipped PR.
• Concept a design proposal pitch, prototype it into something compelling, and pair with engineers or coding agents to build.
• Stay flexible as the macro shifts while shipping incredible product for our fast-growing customer base.

Requirements

• Fluent with design and AI tools.
• Comfortable concepting a design proposal pitch.
• Comfortable prototyping into something compelling.
• Comfortable pairing with engineers or coding agents to build.
• Demonstrate a pragmatic approach to taste and craft.
• Flex impressive interfaces while accommodating the unexpected constraints of industrial personas.
• Curious about and empathetic to the domain we operate in.
• Portfolio or presented works do a good job telling the story of your experience, skills, and craft.
