About the Role

The Data Scientist I drives internal data analytics projects by collaborating with executive leaders to deliver analytical solutions. The role involves developing and implementing advanced statistical, machine learning, and AI models, while effectively communicating technical and business concepts to influence decision-making.

Responsibilities

• Build statistical and machine-learning models to enhance understanding of trends and predict future performance
• Participate in the end-to-end data science project lifecycle including data mining, model development, deployment, and tracking
• Perform time-series analyses, hypothesis testing, and causal analyses to extract trends
• Transform data into actionable insights and recommendations
• Design experiments and interpret results to draw actionable conclusions
• Research and resolve data inquiries and requests
• Document requirements for data science and reporting projects
• Design, validate, and evaluate solutions using programming tools

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in an analytical field such as Mathematics, Computer Science, Information Management, Statistics, or Engineering
• 1 year of experience working with large databases to perform complex analysis
• 1 year of experience with statistics and multivariate analytical techniques including regression, cluster analysis, design of experiments, machine learning, and decision trees
• 1 year of experience with advanced programming in Python or R and SQL
