About the Role
Within Mace's consult business, this role harnesses unique expertise in project delivery consultancy to unlock project potential, focusing on major transit and transportation infrastructure programs in Canada.
Responsibilities
- Leads application of specific planning/scheduling methods, techniques and tools.
- Communicates effectively with the client, project team and stakeholders.
- Influences on complex requirements and communicates analysis and corrective measures effectively.
- Leads and manages a team of professionals delivering planning/schedule management services and responsible for team/individual development.
- Influences client to accept proposals and recommendations.
- Undertakes tasks required to fulfill the requirements of the project/assignment.
- Works collaboratively towards the common goal of net zero carbon transition, and shares responsibility for the proactive identification and management of associated carbon emissions and reductions during work delivery.
Requirements
- In-depth knowledge of schedule management tools and software.
- Maintains up-to-date awareness of current industry trends and professional best practices.
- Proven experience across multiple construction industries and sectors.
- Demonstrates a strong commitment to delivering service excellence.
- Strong problem-solving capabilities with a proactive approach.
- Effective management skills, including team leadership and talent development.
- Ability to develop and maintain effective communication and collaborative relationships with clients and internal/external stakeholders.
- Significant experience applying planning techniques across a range of multidisciplinary projects.
