About the Role

ResProp Management is a growing multi-family property management company founded in 2010. We focus on servant leadership and hiring top talent to help people find apartment homes and build communities.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of service operations to ensure operational goals are achieved.
• Participate in completing work orders, including repairing and replacing appliances, plumbing, HVAC, and electrical systems.
• Maintain a positive attitude and provide quality customer service to residents.
• Train maintenance teammates and encourage their development.
• Provide input to the Property Manager regarding teammate performance reviews and feedback.
• Assist the Property Manager in recruiting and interviewing maintenance team members.
• Oversee the organization of the maintenance shop and property appearance.
• Research and evaluate products for property maintenance and upkeep.
• Schedule and supervise in-house and vendor work.
• Manage work orders and response times, ensuring completion within deadlines.
• Oversee inventory, ordering, and delivery of maintenance supplies and equipment.
• Manage a safe, healthy, and accident-free environment.
• Ensure OSHA standards are met.
• Oversee unit turns and renovations within set timeframes.
• Walk apartments upon move-out with the leasing team to assess damage and determine necessary repairs for rent readiness.
• Perform additional duties as required.

Requirements

• At least 8 years of general maintenance/general repair experience.
• 3 years of apartment industry experience required.
• Management experience required.
• EPA Universal certification required.
• CPO certification highly preferred.
• Proficient in trade skills including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, drywall, framing, painting, roofing, cabinetry, pools, and appliance repair.
• Trade licensing preferred but not required.
• Tech savvy; efficiently use computers and basic software programs.
• Must have own tool kit.
• Must live within 30 minutes of the property.
• Must have dependable transportation and be able to accommodate a rotating on-call schedule.
• Must be able to perform physical requirements including lifting, carrying, pushing, or pulling objects up to 50 pounds.
• Requires ability to walk, stand, sit and climb stairs alternatively.
• Requires ability to lift or carry objects.
• Pass a background check and reference check prior to the first day.
