About the Role
Support our project controls program, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget. You will be at the forefront of prime contract management, scheduling, cost control, and contract change management, making a real impact on the success of multiple projects within a district. Collaborate with industry experts to monitor project performance, analyze data, and develop strategies that drive efficiency and effectiveness.
Responsibilities
- Review and analyze contract management records to provide technical advice and project control guidance.
- Assist with cost controls reporting and reconciliation, providing reports for company summaries.
- Support the scheduling process, including bid phase, schedule creation, monthly reporting, and updates.
- Aid in the integration of company systems to track, monitor, and control costs or schedules.
- Conduct regular project reviews and monitor job cost reports against key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Coordinate with the Claims/Contract Manager to track and monitor change order and claims preparation and resolution.
- Track activities related to unsecured revenue and project contingencies.
- Monitor and control project cash flow by tracking over/under billing.
- Assist with resource and cost loading to the schedule, including labor, equipment, and material projections, and productivity trend reporting to forecast project costs and financial outcomes.
Requirements
- 2-3 years’ experience in construction engineering, project management or project controls required.
- Experience with complex scheduling and cost control processes required.
- Knowledge of construction contract agreements and change order processes required.
- Proven written and verbal communication skills.
- Knowledge of accounting principles, including construction accounting, required.
- Able to identify cost reduction strategies in schedule, quantities or contract specifications that align with project budget and design specification requirements.

Salary/Compensations
- CAD $85,000.00/Yr. - CAD $95,000.00/Yr.
