About the Role
Assist clients with post-sales implementation of data center infrastructure automation initiatives, focusing on modern data center solutions and private clouds. This role involves low-level design, hands-on deployment, upgrade/migration services, and seamless integration.
Responsibilities
- Performs low-level design and implementation work, including architecture analysis, design, system migration, and systems engineering.
- Designs and implements VMware VCF 9 (Brownfield and Greenfield), VMware VCF (Aria) Automation, and Automation/IaC technologies (SaltStack, Terraform, Ansible).
- Provides expertise in PowerShell, PowerCLI, Javascript, server virtualization & operations, vSAN, Storage, SAN, disaster recovery, VMware NSX, virtual networking, backup & ransomware resiliency, and hyperconverged solutions.
- Serves as the technical lead and subject matter expert on projects, overseeing work and ensuring project outcomes.
- Collaborates with sales and presales teams to identify and close professional services opportunities through customer discovery and scoping.
- Performs configuration and upgrade services within customer environments.
- Participates in pre-sales conversations, design, and planning of services engagements.
- Provides technical leadership and mentorship in pre-sales and post-sales capacities to support offering understanding, evaluation, and adoption.
- Demonstrates long-term thinking for the Infrastructure practice and customer engagements.
