About the Role
Canary is scaling quickly and needs an experienced Senior Recruiter to own the hiring process from top to bottom. This role requires figuring out what's working, fixing what isn't, and leading the charge on finding the company's next 50+ hires. The ideal candidate has at least 5 years of experience in the tech/SaaS space, can handle full-cycle recruiting, and will help professionalize the hiring process. Growth in this role is tied directly to the quality of the team built.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with hiring managers to define core competencies for open roles, draft precise job descriptions, and establish effective interview workflows.
- Execute the end-to-end hiring process, including sourcing, initial screening, and interview management.
- Proactively identify and engage qualified talent through LinkedIn, professional networks, and targeted outreach to maintain a healthy pipeline.
- Serve as the main point of contact for all applicants, ensuring a consistent, professional, and transparent experience throughout the hiring journey.
- Ensure the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) remains accurate and up to date to provide leadership with clear visibility into the hiring funnel.
- Act as the primary liaison for recruitment agencies and search firms when supplemental support is required for specialized searches.
- Track and communicate key recruitment metrics, such as time-to-hire and source effectiveness, to help optimize the talent acquisition strategy.
Requirements
- 5+ years of recruiting experience, preferably within a fast-growing SaaS company.
- Experience recruiting for engineering, product, or other technical roles is a plus.
- Proven ability to manage multiple open requisitions simultaneously while maintaining a high standard of quality.
- Strong professional communication skills with the ability to build rapport with candidates and provide consultative advice to senior stakeholders.
- Ability to use data to identify trends, address hiring bottlenecks, and improve overall recruitment efficiency.
- Comfort working in a fast-paced environment where priorities may shift based on business needs.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.

- $100,000 - $140,000
- Performance-based bonus paid quarterly, target of $10,000 - $21,000 annually
- Total expected cash compensation range: $110,000 - $161,000
