About the Role

This role sits at the intersection of procurement analytics, cost reporting, and master data, supporting COGS tracking, supplier data integrity, and analytics tooling across HelloFresh's North American brands. You will work cross-functionally and leverage a modern tech stack to automate and improve tools. To succeed, you'll need a strong sense of ownership, analytical and organizational abilities, and a keen interest in how good data, processes, and tools can drive better decision-making.

Responsibilities

  • Take ownership of several operationally critical tools and processes, managing and executing at the rhythm required by the business.
  • Support weekly and monthly COGS reporting across HelloFresh NA brands, assisting with variance identification, data validation, and cost reconciliation.
  • Be the primary subject-matter-expert for all inputs, outputs, structures, and process flows that impact or are impacted by your responsibilities.
  • Contribute to SKU and supplier master data processes, ensuring accuracy and completeness across procurement and supply chain systems.
  • Interact cross-functionally with Supply Chain, Finance, and Procurement teams to ensure business processes are executed as designed and achieving desired outcomes.
  • Continuously improve tools, analysis, and presentation techniques while adapting to an expanding business and an evolving landscape of Supply Chain technology.
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Requirements

  • 1+ years of relevant work experience in an analytical capacity.
  • Undergraduate degree in fields such as Business Analytics, Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Economics, Finance, Mathematics, Data Science, Computer Science, Information Systems, Statistics, Accounting, or other relevant area of study.
  • Excellent quantitative and analytical skills – able to gather, organize, analyze, visualize, and present data to enable decision-making.
  • Proficiency in spreadsheet applications, such as Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets, with preference for ability to automate within spreadsheets.
  • Experience with SQL in a professional or academic environment, to quickly enable the continued ownership and refinement of existing queries and scripts, and the development of new ones.
  • Basic to intermediate knowledge of a high-level programming language (e.g. Python, R, etc.), with significant interest in further developing these skills.
  • Experience with data visualization software (e.g. Tableau), with significant interest in further developing these skills.
  • Familiarity with cost accounting, financial reporting, or P&L concepts – or a strong interest in developing this understanding in a supply chain context.
  • Strong verbal and written communication abilities – able to convey the most important information to stakeholders, and to be effective in both technical and non-technical (business) situations.
  • You are a natural owner - You are super reliable and thoughtful in managing your responsibilities, you care about the outcome and quality of your work, and you earn the trust of your colleagues.
  • You are a data-driven critical thinker and problem solver - You use data and logic to identify opportunities, diagnose issues, evaluate alternatives, and synthesize and present critical information to solve complex problems.
  • You are intellectually curious - You have an insatiable desire to understand why things are the way they are, how things work, and to challenge the status quo; you search for information and answers in an evolving landscape.
  • You are detail oriented - you complete each task as flawlessly as possible before moving to the next task.
  • You are agile and organized - You thrive in fast-paced and dynamic environments; you can multitask and prioritize your responsibilities; you demonstrate a methodical approach to all your work.
  • You are a self-starter - You are comfortable working autonomously and are obsessive about producing high quality work; you’re eager to take on new projects without knowing exactly what you will uncover.
  • You are an excellent communicator - You can explain complex (often technical) information to a variety of audiences.
  • You are a team player - You favor team victories over individual success.
