About the Role

Megazone Cloud is seeking a Data Engineer to be a cornerstone of our data-driven culture. This role is ideal for a builder with a startup mentality, a thirst for knowledge, and a desire to see their work directly impact customers. You will leverage your expertise in data wrangling, Databricks or Snowflake, Python, SQL, and AWS to design, build, and maintain critical data infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and scale resilient, high-performance data pipelines and infrastructure on AWS.
• Master the data environment, leveraging Databricks and/or Snowflake to wrangle, transform, and prepare data for analysis and product use.
• Develop clean, optimized, and automated solutions using Python and SQL to solve complex data challenges.
• Collaborate with data science, development, and infrastructure teams on large-scale projects.
• Embrace a builder mentality and contribute to diverse challenges in a flexible startup environment.

Requirements

• 3-5+ years of professional data engineering experience.
• 2-3+ years of hands-on experience with Python.
• 2-3+ years of hands-on experience with SQL.
• Proven, professional experience with Databricks OR Snowflake.
• Solid experience building and managing data solutions on AWS.
• Proven experience in data wrangling and building robust data pipelines.
• A 'builder' mindset, a startup mentality, and a genuine thirst for knowledge.
• Exceptional communication skills and the flexibility to think fast.
• A strong team-player mentality, with experience navigating team dynamics and collaborating effectively.
