About the Role
TMHCC is seeking a Business Delivery Partner to join our Underwriting Optimisation team. This role is crucial for identifying and delivering changes across multiple product offerings, working closely with business stakeholders to translate their needs to delivery teams. You will be part of a business transformation towards empowered, agile ways of working, managing change from ideation to release.
Responsibilities
- Lead business initiatives as a Business Delivery Partner.
- Interact with stakeholders at all levels to ensure common understanding and agreement of objectives and outcomes.
- Engage with business stakeholders, change teams, and SMEs to define delivery approach, timelines, and costs.
- Ensure all work is delivered in accordance with established project approaches.
- Agree deliverables, success criteria, business readiness, business integration, and resource requirements.
- Manage project dependencies, planning, progression, and financials.
- Provide status reporting, effective communications, and ongoing risk assessment.
- Consult with executive leadership, sponsors, and stakeholders to validate delivery trajectory and performance.
- Translate delivery impacts into communications and engagement plans.
- Manage priorities and deliveries of multiple initiatives concurrently.
- Identify opportunities for other areas to leverage delivery benefits.
- Understand and communicate the impact of Company-wide projects on underwriting.
Requirements
- Experience in a combination of change initiatives (people & process, business enablement, front office, claims, regulatory, compliance, operational risk) within an insurance company.
- Proven project management experience and understanding of project delivery approaches and methods.
- Demonstrable business change delivery experience and partnering with the business on delivery.
- Experience delivering across all phases of the project lifecycle.
- Proven ability to engage stakeholders at all levels, across business and functions, to deliver defined objectives.
- Solid project management experience and ability to demonstrate management of cross-functional/cross-discipline teams through direct management and influence.
- Ability to work as an effective team member.
- Ability to build effective teams.
- Proficiency in managing multiple tasks and work-streams concurrently, prioritizing to ensure timely delivery.
- Strong analytical skills to interpret and synthesize information for business outcomes.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to tailor communication to the audience.
