About the Role
The Pricing Lead is the market’s senior pricing leader, responsible for shaping and delivering transactions aligned to strategy within a defined EMEA market, while balancing regional priorities. You bring early clarity on what wins and why, applying deep pricing expertise and disciplined risk-reward thinking to guide opportunities to the best outcome. The role is the primary pricing partner to the Managing Director (MD) and Business Development (BD), ensuring pricing capability aligns to market strategy and remains cohesive across EMEA. You lead a market-designated pool of pricing resources, drawing on a separate agile pool supporting cross-market work. This is a senior leadership role requiring strong judgement and influence.
Responsibilities
- Act as the market’s senior pricing advisor, providing strategic guidance and technical leadership.
- Co-own the growth agenda with MD/BD, translating strategy into clear pricing priorities.
- Shape and prioritise the pipeline, ensuring clarity on risk appetite and closing misaligned opportunities early.
- Lead pricing across the deal lifecycle, from structuring to final approval.
- Provide clear, evidence-based recommendations under pressure.
- Represent the market in prioritisation decisions, making trade-offs explicit.
- Lead non-transactional initiatives to improve decision quality and pace.
- Be a trusted, pragmatic partner to MD and BD.
- Challenge misalignment early and constructively.
- Communicate clearly on pipeline health, risks and constraints.
- Collaborate across stakeholders to align priorities and deliver outcomes.
- Build a consistent EMEA pricing culture with clear standards and accountability.
- Embed key principles: Strong ownership without silos; Fairness and development across EMEA; Effective use of the agile pool; Cross-market cohesion.
- Role model inclusive, collaborative leadership and open debate.
- Lead and develop a market pricing team, strengthening capability and judgement.
- Plan rotations to build breadth and depth across EMEA.

- Sponsor and develop emerging leaders through stretch opportunities.
