About the Role
We are seeking a proactive and data-driven People Partner to support our Global Employee population, with an emphasis on European markets and customer support organizations. You will operate as a strategic individual contributor, translating team needs into concrete actions that drive performance and act as a trusted advisor to your client groups, using your unique perspective to identify trends and recommend initiatives that move the business forward.
Responsibilities
- Act as the primary advisor for European leaders and Support teams, and an ad hoc advisor for other business units, translating business needs into concrete HR actions and navigating high-stakes people issues by evaluating risk and recommending a clear path forward.
- Coach leaders on performance management, feedback, and resource planning, ensuring they deliver radically candid, empathetic, and growth-oriented feedback in real time.
- Identify talent gaps and build development plans that prioritize internal mobility and a high performance culture.
- Operate comfortably in the grey. Assess risks and make firm calls even with incomplete information, recognizing when "done well" is better than "perfect" to maintain business momentum.
- Lead and execute end-to-end projects that scale across the entire organization, ensuring critical stakeholders are brought along at every step.
- Analyze regional trends and engagement metrics to proactively recommend and implement programs that improve performance and retention.
- Challenge the status quo and experiment with innovative solutions, leveraging AI, that raise the bar for the employee experience.
- Serve as the regional SME for European labor relations, partnering with EOR vendors across France, Germany, Italy, Spain, Portugal, Poland, and the UK to ensure compliance.
- Oversee complex ER cases with rigorous documentation and an unbiased approach.
- Partner with People Ops and Legal to ensure regional handbooks and policies are compliant and reflect Taskrabbit's culture of openness and transparency.
- Own day-to-day employee inquiries for your client groups across Slack, email, and ticketing, with a 24-hour initial response standard.
- Manage the unique nuances of supporting non-exempt/hourly Support populations, balancing business speed with employee needs.
- Proactively identify opportunities to weave Taskrabbit's core values into team programs and recognition rituals.
Requirements
- Strong working knowledge of employee relations, compliance, and regulatory practices across European markets is required, and US experience preferred.
- Proven experience managing large-scale people programs from ideation through company-wide execution.
