About the Role
Join an agile team within an entrepreneurial business to develop Integrate, a cloud-native actuarial modeling and risk management platform. You will collaborate with consultants and customers to reinvent how risk is managed in the life insurance industry, helping actuaries work more efficiently and effectively.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate in a team-focused, Agile development environment
- Organize and self-direct tasks to ensure project completion
- Deliver industry-leading software with a competitive cadence
- Embrace technical excellence and continuous learning
- Contribute and adapt to changing requirements, ideas, and solutions
- Design and develop customer-facing applications
- Write unit tests to cover all requirements and functionality
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, applied math, economics, actuarial science, or a related field
- Ability to effectively communicate technical information
- Passion for technology and shaping the future of Life Technology Solutions products
- Experience in software development in a general-purpose programming language
- Experience working on projects with multiple work-streams and delivery phases
- Experience with data structures or algorithms through coursework, projects, research, or internships
