About the Role

EXP is searching for a BIM Coordinator to be part of our growing and dynamic New York office. Utilize Revit and AutoCAD to generate drawings, prepare construction documents, and manage model production.

Responsibilities

• Utilize Revit and AutoCAD to generate drawings based on specific project requirements.
• Preparation of construction documents, including specifications.
• Project initiation, setting up and establishing new projects with appropriate file structures and BIM standards to meet the clients’ standards.
• Management of model production and drawing production involving multiple disciplines.
• Advise and provide technical assistance to team members relating to BIM.
• Ensure model and drawing quality control.
• Work closely with engineers to assemble complete BIM project drawings in Revit.
• Utilize clash detection software to resolve conflicts in virtual 3D space.
• Perform site visits as needed.

Requirements

• Experience utilizing Revit for building design is preferred, however, experience in building trades is an acceptable alternative.
• High School diploma required.
• Multidiscipline coordinating experience with process mechanical systems, electrical systems, civil infrastructure systems and structural systems.
• Experience with 3D and parametric design and a functional understanding of building information modeling (BIM).
• Experience utilizing Autodesk Revit software to produce architectural drawings.
• Ability to utilize Autodesk Revit application to produce construction documents including floor plans, sections, callouts, 3D views, and schedules, in a timely fashion.
