About the Role
As a Data Scientist within the Data and Automation organization, you will focus on building intelligent agents, automation, and internal tools to enhance workflows. This role combines traditional data science with generative AI, specifically designing and operating agents using Copilot and related platforms to solve real business problems.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and deploy intelligent agents to automate team and departmental workflows
- Implement and extend agents using Copilot and related GenAI tooling
- Develop internal tools and automation solutions to improve data access, analysis, and decision-making
- Apply statistical analysis and data mining techniques to support agent logic, insights, and recommendations
- Manage and prepare data pipelines for analytical and GenAI-driven use cases
- Partner with stakeholders to identify opportunities for automation and efficiency
- Integrate agents and tools with existing platforms and business processes
- Support and improve deployed agents through monitoring, tuning, and iteration
- Document solutions and share best practices to enable broader adoption
- Perform analytical tasks on structured and unstructured data to extract business insights
- Participate in data gathering, processing, and mining of complex datasets
- Develop algorithms using machine learning to predict business outcomes
- Run analytical experiments to find opportunities for product and process optimization
- Present business insights to management using visualization technologies and data storytelling
- Partner with Data Architects, Analysts, Engineers, and Visualization Experts to develop data-driven solutions
Requirements
- Experience building or implementing intelligent agents or automation solutions
- Familiarity with leveraging Copilot to design, configure, or extend agent-based workflows
- Strong foundation in statistical analysis and data mining techniques
- Experience working across data management and analytics use cases
- Familiarity with Microsoft Power Platform including Power Automate, Power Apps, and Power BI
- Comfort working with structured and unstructured data sources
- Ability to translate business needs into automated, data-driven solutions
- Strong problem-solving skills and a bias toward practical, scalable implementation
- 3+ years of relevant industry experience
