About the Role
As a Clinical Sales Specialist for Urology in Northern-Eastern Germany, you will be responsible for training, sales, and providing technical and clinical support to customers in your assigned territory. You will possess a deep understanding of patient care, clinical procedures (e.g., intensive care), and continence management. Your role involves accompanying and supporting medical professionals with innovative solutions and advising customers with expertise.
Responsibilities
- Proactive support and maintenance of new customers in the respective sales area.
- Clinical support for the introduction and application of incontinence products in hospitals.
- Active sales activities to manage product tests, evaluations, and pilot projects, including preparation and finalization of contracts.
- Conducting product training, workshops, and in-house training for medical professionals.
- Building and maintaining relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) and relevant stakeholders in the healthcare sector.
- Assisting in the creation of training materials, clinical arguments, and case studies.
- Participating in trade fairs, congresses, and further education events.
- Collecting and providing customer feedback for continuous improvement of products and services.
- Supporting the implementation of care pathways and product integration into clinical workflows.
- Collaborating with internal departments such as Marketing and Business Development.
- Updating and maintaining accurate information in the CRM tool salesforce.com.
- Responsibility for quantitative and qualitative monthly, quarterly, and annual targets.
Requirements
- Completed vocational training (or degree) in nursing or a comparable field.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of professional experience in a clinical setting or comparable.
- Initial sales experience in the medical technology or pharmaceutical industry (desired).
- Ideally, experience in continence care.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- High degree of initiative, customer orientation, and willingness to travel (4 days a week).
- Proficient use of digital tools and presentation media.
- Fluent German and very good English skills (written and spoken).
- Ability to work towards goals and performance-oriented.
- Independence, self-responsibility, and teamwork skills.
- Good IT skills (MS-Office etc.).
- Ideal location: Berlin and surrounding area or Hamburg and surrounding area.
