About the Role
The Sales Development Representative (SDR) is the first line of communication with potential influencers, responsible for finding and screening clients who will benefit from Smart Start's products and services. This role requires a strong understanding of products, identifying new opportunities, building relationships, and setting up Business Development Representatives for success.
Responsibilities
- Promote and market Smart Start products through cold calls, Hub Spot, emails, live chat, and other communication channels.
- Schedule initial meetings for the field sales team.
- Manage the Dots on Map program.
- Research and develop influencer prospects using web searches and social media.
- Provide technical expertise to government officials and in consultative selling with influencers.
- Obtain market intelligence to ensure Smart Start’s competitive agility and strategy.
- Develop new sales strategies specific to competitive approaches and influencer opportunities.
- Educate influencers on the full scope of product functionality, including reporting platforms.
- Maintain a high level of proficiency and knowledge in Smart Start products and monitoring platforms.
- Act as an expert on state regulations and rules pertaining to impaired driving, ignition interlock, and alcohol monitoring.
- Proactively identify new influencer opportunities within the market.
