About the Role

Responsibilities

Active involvement in tax compliance, including CIT and VAT returns, ensuring data integrity and understanding the broader financial impact.
Assist in the digital transformation of tax processes, including SAP optimization and automated tax reporting tool implementation.
Ensure high-quality tax data through monthly tax checks and supporting the Internal Tax Compliance Management System (TCMS).
Help design, track, and visualize Tax KPIs to enhance strategic decision-making.
Analyze existing and upcoming tax laws for their impact on Trade Republic's business.
Drive innovation by screening and evaluating new digitization tools and AI use cases to improve internal work methods.

Requirements

Academic background in Business, Law, or Economics with a focus on Taxation.
Initial practical experience in Tax.
Strong affinity for numbers and the ability to translate complex tax data into clear reports.
Proficient Microsoft Excel knowledge.
AI native mindset.
Familiarity with SAP is a plus.
Self-driven personality with a "hands-on" approach and high attention to detail.
Proficiency in English and German.
Berlin-based or willingness to relocate to Berlin between July 15 and October 15, 2026.
