About the Role
The ANZ Financial Services Sales Team is seeking an experienced Solutions Sales Specialist to lead direct sales of SAS Fraud & Financial Crime Compliance solutions in Australia and New Zealand, with a focus on financial services. This role involves identifying, developing, and closing complex engagements with large financial services institutions by leveraging deep product and industry expertise.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a business development plan for SAS Fraud & Financial Crime Compliance solutions to generate revenue.
- Generate and qualify opportunities, identifying required resources.
- Lead opportunity pursuits by managing and influencing requirements to gain a competitive edge.
- Create and present sales proposals to communicate the value of SAS products and services to senior-level stakeholders.
- Collaborate with pre-sales resources, virtual sales teams, account managers, and executives to ensure timely responses to leads and strategic account development.
- Prepare quotations, proposals, and contracts, working cross-functionally to finalize agreements and set delivery schedules.
- Advance opportunities through sales cycle milestones and forecast timeframes to close business.
- Facilitate the closure of complex sales, assisting with pricing negotiations and licensing questions.
- Engage with enterprise negotiations and licensing operations on price negotiations and licensing questions.
- Transition customers to Professional Services for design/deployment post-close.
- Track customer satisfaction levels and identify additional revenue opportunities.
- Provide information to Product Management and/or Research and Development for future product direction.
- Ensure all applicable security policies and processes are followed to support the organization's secure software development goals.
Requirements
- Advanced knowledge of solution development focusing on Fraud and Financial Crime Compliance within financial services institutions (including Banks, Payments Processors, Insurers) or relevant experience in professional services.
- Knowledge of advanced sales techniques, preferably related to software acquisition cycles and buying influences.
- Expert skills in relating technical and business concepts to SAS applications and user needs, communicating them with clarity to different stakeholders.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Strong ability to analyze and evaluate territory dynamics and develop sales plans.
- Ability to work independently as well as effectively in a team environment.
- Ability to travel as needed to support business activities.
