About the Role
The Banker is a senior-level position responsible for assisting clients in raising funds in capital markets and providing strategic advisory services for mergers, acquisitions, and other financial transactions. The role also involves acting as an intermediary in trading for clients and formulating investment strategies to raise capital.
Responsibilities
- Assume significant responsibility for project and transaction execution, new business development, and firm growth.
- Work closely with clients on financing transactions, guiding them through the capital raising process.
- Lead due diligence and drafting sessions for equity or debt offerings.
- Prepare clients for equity or debt offerings.
- Collaborate with clients, senior team members, and external advisors on M&A and special situation transactions.
- Draft situation analyses, pitch materials, and information memoranda.
- Prepare investor and management presentations.
- Oversee the work of analysts and associates assigned to projects.
Requirements
- 6-10 years of experience.
- Experience in the Financial Services industry, specifically within Banking.
- Comprehensive knowledge of the corporate banking business, related products, pertinent regulations, and lending/credit approval processes.
- Demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience with large corporate clients, capital markets products, derivatives, credit, cash management, trade finance, and securities products.
- Series 7 and 63 preferred.
