About the Role

Responsible for leading the planning, execution, and delivery of complex, multi-phase projects, ensuring completion on time, within budget, and to defined quality standards. Oversees project progress, coordinates cross-functional teams and external partners, and maintains accountability for schedules and documentation to ensure successful outcomes aligned with client expectations.

Responsibilities

  • Leading the overall direction, completion, and outcome of all assigned projects as contracted by the client.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to define project objectives, scope, and deliverables.
  • Communicating clearly with team members and client representatives, providing project updates, and setting and managing stakeholder expectations.
  • Monitoring project milestones and deliverables, providing regular status reports to leadership and stakeholders.
  • Creating and maintaining detailed project documentation in proprietary or client software.
  • Performing regular assessments of project execution to identify areas for improvement.
  • Serving as a liaison between technical and non-technical stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and alignment of goals.
  • Encouraging a collaborative and transparent working environment that promotes interdepartmental accountability and ownership.
  • Staying aware of industry best practices, techniques, and standards for effective project execution.
  • Complying with federal, state, and local legal requirements by studying new and existing legislation, anticipating future legislation, enforcing adherence to requirements, and advising management on necessary action.
  • Delivering outstanding customer service through timely response and proactive solutions to clients’ needs.
  • Protecting operations by keeping company information confidential.
  • Demonstrating BV’s guiding principles in support of the company's strategic goals.
  • Following all documented policies, Standard Operating Procedures, and Work Instructions applicable to the position.
  • Maintaining a safe and clean work area by complying with all procedures, rules, and regulations.
  • Leading the overall direction, completion, program management, and financial outcome of multiple retail projects within the construction services realm.
  • Directing and managing project development from beginning to end, including managing consultants, general contractors, vendors, specialty contractors, budgets, internal departments, and developers for each project.
  • Managing each phase of the project including entitlement, design, permitting, bidding, contracting, construction, store start up, store turnover, and project close out.
  • Navigating and overseeing contract administration, change orders, budgets, schedules, and client delivery of each project.
  • Providing project management for multiple sites and states concurrently with stellar organization across multiple initiatives.
  • Developing and maintaining detailed project plans, timelines, and resource allocation.
  • Identifying and mitigating project risks, ensuring proactive problem-solving throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Fostering a culture of continuous improvement, implementing feedback loops to enhance team efficiency and productivity.
  • Identifying, navigating, and forecasting the needs of the project/client.

Requirements

  • Must be able to meet the physical demands of the job.
  • Valid driver's license required with no significant MVA points/violations (clean driving record).
  • Employees who incur $2,000 or more per year in company-related travel expenses will be required to obtain a Corporate Credit Card.
  • Employees who incur less than $2,000 per year in company-related travel expenses will be required to have sufficient personal credit to cover their business travel costs.
  • Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and safe manner.
  • Ability to successfully work from remote location.
  • Must have a cell phone and supply your own internet service.

Experience Level

  • Five years or more of related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience (in lieu of degree).

  • Bachelor's degree (B.A. or B.S.) from four-year college or university in related field.
  • PMP preferred.
