About the Role

The incumbent plays a vital role in creating a dynamic and inclusive learning environment where students can thrive and succeed. As a teacher, you will be responsible for planning and delivering lessons according to established curricula, integrating innovative teaching approaches, and using effective assessment methods to track student progress. Additionally, you will actively contribute to promoting the Acadian and Francophone language and culture while pursuing your own professional development to meet the evolving needs of your students and the school.

Responsibilities

Prepare and teach school subjects in accordance with learning outcomes identified in study programs through engaging, diverse, and differentiated activities.
Utilize inclusive, varied, and student-success-centered pedagogical approaches.
Employ assessment strategies that support learning and measure student progress.
Integrate technology into teaching.
Promote the Acadian and Francophone language and culture.
Continuously pursue professional development in line with student and school needs.
Actively participate in meetings and school life.

Requirements

Hold a Nova Scotia teaching certificate (or be eligible for one).
Possess relevant training and experience for the tasks and subjects taught.
Oral and written fluency in French.
