About the Role
TickPick is seeking a Data Scientist to innovate and grow our marketplace business. The ideal candidate will have experience building and operationalizing machine learning models to predict business outcomes and a curious mind interested in marketplace optimization. This role offers the opportunity to impact various aspects of the business and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Responsibilities
- Support the organization in experimenting with new product features and strategies, forecasting and understanding their impact.
- Build, deploy, and maintain machine learning models in production, ensuring they are sustainable and maintainable.
- Collaborate with product, growth, and development teams to integrate data science into product development and drive initiatives from inception to production.
- Analyze large volumes of transactional data to identify opportunities for efficient, transparent, and low-cost marketplace interactions that drive growth.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field such as Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or Data Science.
- 3+ years of experience with machine learning models, including development, version control, and deployment/serving.
- Demonstrated experience operationalizing ML models in production.
- Experience working with platforms like Snowflake and Databricks.
- Proficiency in at least one programming language, such as Python.
- Experience using AI tools for data analysis, model development, and experimentation.
- Strong planning, communication, and problem-solving skills.
