About the Role
El Pastor is seeking a temporary Reception Manager to oversee reservations and guest experience at their Soho, London location until September. The role involves leading the reception team, managing guest data, and ensuring exceptional service.
Responsibilities
- Manage reservations for a busy restaurant.
- Exceed guest expectations at all times.
- Consistently maintain the highest standards and deliver exceptional guest service.
- Collate and use guest data appropriately to enhance future visits.
- Positively lead reception teams and support them through regular training.
- Hire, train, and motivate a team.
- Communicate effectively and clearly at all times.
- Be the face of a Group known for its warm welcome.
- Show respect for colleagues.
- Maximize revenue by controlling customer flow and table management.
- Respond to guest queries in writing.
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience managing reservations for a busy restaurant in London.
- Excellent knowledge of Sevenrooms Reservations system.
- Confident and warm communication with team and guests.
- Strong team ethic.
- Excellent level of written English.
- Passion for the Hospitality Industry and your own development.
