About the Role
Responsible for creating high-end 3D environments for shots and sequences, balancing technical and artistic demands to set standards for environment creation and layout workflows.
Responsibilities
- Build detailed, shot-ready environments using modular and custom elements.
- Manage large-scale scenes for use in lookdev and lighting.
- Ensure environments are clean, efficient, and fit into studio pipeline requirements.
- Resolve scene integration issues with layout, lighting, and comp.
- Maintain realism, composition, and scale accuracy in all environments.
- Maintain high standards of scene cleanliness and usability.
- Contribute to internal guides and support workflow clarity.
- Deliver visually strong, technically efficient environments on time.
Requirements
- Experience of using on-set data such as photogrammetry and lidar.
- Familiarity with SpeedTree, Gaea, or terrain workflows.
- Understanding of camera projection, matte painting, and DMP workflows.
- Ability to create and improve team tools or workflows.
- Strong time management, ability to prioritize, meet deadlines and escalate delays in a timely manner.
- Adaptable to change with the ability to stay focused and maintain a positive attitude.
- Driven to make things better with flexibility to change course when needed.
- Positive energy, focusing on results and having a positive impact on those around you.
- Self awareness and an ability to resolve and diffuse problems treating others with kindness and respect.
