About the Role
The Autodesk Enterprise Customer Success organization is looking for an accomplished and enthusiastic individual to join our Consulting Services team as a Senior Implementation Consultant for construction in Japan. You will use your construction industry and technical knowledge to help customers implement design, engineering, and construction solutions. You will report to a consulting manager and work directly with customers to offer consulting services including process improvement and implementation strategies, software training, configuration, mentoring, and technical guidance. Providing these services will ensure customers are maximizing the value from their investment in Autodesk technologies and ensuring the success of transformational changes to their business. You will also track the value of the solutions delivered and the scale at which they are adopted.
Responsibilities
- Work with Autodesk's customers to implement construction solutions related to document management, data management, field workflows, and handover/turnover.
- Analyze, improve, and implement processes and workflows.
- Lead consulting engagements with customers and document the value delivered.
- Apply Autodesk product sets to detailed industry requirements and workflows.
- Configure solutions based on product capabilities and customer requirements.
- Guide customers in the best application of Autodesk products and define/document detailed use cases.
- Define migration approach for customer data and standards into Autodesk products.
- Collaborate with customers, external partners, and Autodesk team members to provide solutions and resolve technical issues.
- Provide feedback to service line management and product development groups on client experience for product and process improvements.
- Collaborate with Autodesk account teams to define Customer Success Plans and customer engagements.
- Provide mentoring to customers to improve adoption.
- Provide mentoring to partners to promote the scalable delivery of related services.
- Contribute to task estimation and scoping, including scope clarification with customers.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in architecture, construction management, or engineering (or equivalent experience).
- Five years of hands-on experience in the construction industry, with a focus on the delivery of digital solutions across a business enterprise.
- Experience with the following construction industry processes: Preconstruction, Document Management, Project Management, Quality Management, Safety Management, Handover, Work Packaging.
- Experience conducting workshops, facilitating meetings, and delivering presentations to teams and customers.
- Demonstrated abilities related to strategy, innovation, project management, change management, business process optimization, and communications.
- Experience guiding decisions and closing on issues.
- Experience working with diverse technical, sales, and project delivery teams.
- Know how to operate under structured project management.
- Can break down complex topics into a common language understandable by non-technical/business-oriented audiences.
Skills
- Autodesk product expertise (Autodesk Construction Cloud, BIM 360, Revit) and experience using them.
- Knowledge of competitor solutions in the construction industry.
- Advanced experience developing and allowing workflow processes between architects, designers, engineers, contractors, and owners.
- Experience developing and sustaining a digital delivery solution portfolio.
- Experience driving change at the enterprise level.
- Familiarity with ISO 19650.
