About the Role
This senior role within the UK Experience Studio holds end-to-end responsibility for delivering complex, creative-led live events, acting as the strategic and operational lead across multiple projects and accounts.
Responsibilities
- Own the full lifecycle of creative event projects, from briefing and proposal through to delivery and post-event reconciliation
- Act as the senior, central point of contact for clients across all creative, technical, and production requirements
- Translate client strategic objectives into clear event recommendations, creative direction, and production solutions
- Build and maintain strong client relationships, proactively identifying opportunities to grow accounts and enhance delivery standards
- Lead and coordinate cross-functional project teams spanning content, creative, technical, production, and logistics disciplines
- Demonstrate a strong working understanding of creative and technical roles and capabilities
- Confidently brief, challenge, and guide creative and technical teams at a senior level, ensuring ideas are both creatively strong and technically deliverable
- Work closely with Creative and Production Leads to define the right team structure and skillset for each project
- Oversee production coordination across all technical and creative outputs, including AV, video, staging, and show delivery
- Ensure timelines, budgets, and scopes are clearly defined, managed, and delivered against
- Collaborate with operations, logistics, and production leadership to ensure seamless delivery across UK and European teams
- Manage external suppliers and freelancers, ensuring quality, consistency, and value
- Work closely with Account Managers, Operations, Creative, Production, and Logistics teams to ensure joined-up delivery
- Coordinate internal and external stakeholders across multiple geographies, ensuring clear communication and accountability
- Provide clear guidance and solutions when challenges arise, maintaining confidence with both clients and teams
Requirements
- Minimum 5 to 10 years’ experience in the events industry
- At least 3 years leading creative and technical project teams
- Proven experience delivering complex, strategic events involving integrated creative and production disciplines
- Deep understanding of creative and technical event roles, with the ability to “speak the same language” as creatives, producers, and technical specialists
- Strong experience managing external freelancers and building project teams with the right balance of skills
- Confident working with senior client stakeholders across marketing and communications functions
- Excellent leadership, communication, and decision-making skills, with strong attention to detail
- Comfortable managing multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
- Curious, collaborative, and commercially minded, with a passion for innovation and industry best practice
- Well-connected within the events industry, with a strong network of partners and freelancers
- Experience working within a large, international organisation
- Agency experience (events or marketing/communications) preferred
