About the Role
New Balance is seeking associates to engage, excite, educate, and entertain consumers, acting as brand ambassadors with a passion for stockroom operations.
Responsibilities
- Provide superior product knowledge and service techniques to meet customer stock needs.
- Develop product knowledge to educate customers on features and benefits.
- Measure and fit customers to appropriate products.
- Communicate current store promotions and pricing.
- Keep the sales floor neat and organized, including stock and inventory functions.
- Label and price mark items and merchandise apparel.
- Organize and fill the sales floor to maximize selling.
- Complete stock transfers, RTVs, and cycle counts.
- Protect company assets by greeting customers, attaching/detaching security tags, and reporting shrinkage/security violations.
- Monitor floor merchandise.
- Perform other duties as required.
Requirements
- Demonstrate customer service skills.
- Possess a passion for retail, sales, and stockroom operations.
- Show a desire to learn.
- Ability to perform basic math and general retail operational processes.
- Effective communication skills.
- Proven organizational skills.
- Flexible work schedule including weekends and holidays.
- Ability to work early hours for deliveries before store opening and occasional night shifts.
