About the Role

As a Factory Planning Engineer, you will shape the future of the ASML Berlin site by combining technical expertise in equipment, processes, and space requirements with project management skills. You will be responsible for facility and space planning, interfacing with Operations, Engineering, and Corporate Real Estate to optimally design manufacturing and laboratory areas.

Responsibilities

  • Plan expansions and redesigns of work areas or entire production buildings in detail.
  • Develop creative, goal-oriented, and efficient solutions.
  • Further develop methodologies, standardize processes, and implement best practices.
  • Collaborate closely with interdisciplinary teams and connect within the global competence network.
  • Prepare and present decision documents and KPIs for different stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Successfully completed technical degree, ideally with a focus on production, factory planning, or related fields.
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment and understanding of production planning challenges.
  • Methodological expertise, e.g., from Lean Management.
  • Experience leading projects and working with different stakeholders.
  • Ability to request information effectively, bring together diverse perspectives, and create joint solutions.
  • Fluent German and English language skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel.
  • Experience with specialized planning tools and CAD applications is ideal.

  • Remuneration according to company collective agreement (with IG Metall) including 13th monthly salary and variable remuneration components
