About the Role
Partnering with a leading AI technology company to hire a Data Capture Technician & Team Lead based in the Austin area. This is a unique opportunity to combine field operations, team leadership, and cutting-edge technology while supporting AI-powered construction and infrastructure projects across Texas.
Responsibilities
- Lead and execute reality capture projects across construction sites
- Manage schedules, logistics, and deployment of field technicians
- Provide backup coverage when team members are unavailable
- Monitor project pipelines and proactively identify operational risks
- Ensure all work meets safety requirements and quality standards
- Serve as the main point of contact between technicians, site managers, stakeholders, and project teams
- Support ongoing process improvements and operational excellence
- Utilize mobile apps, scheduling tools, cameras, and specialized capture equipment
Requirements
- Based in or near Austin, TX
- Available Monday-Friday, 30-40 hours per week
- Experience leading teams, managing field operations, or coordinating projects
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Comfortable working independently and taking ownership of projects
- Tech-savvy and confident using mobile applications and scheduling software
- Able to walk long distances, navigate active construction sites, and work outdoors as needed
- Fluent in English with excellent verbal and written communication skills
