About the Role

As a Senior Cost Manager at Linesight, you will work with experienced, diverse, and passionate teams, gaining industry experience that will expand your skillset and perspective. Responsibilities

• Actively participate in the tender/bid process, from documentation through analysis and reporting.
• Manage the change management process, including identification, analysis, approval, and implementation of cost-affecting changes.
• Analyze tenders/bids to ensure client value for money.
• Assist in the preparation and agreement of final accounts, including handling claims for optimal client value.
• Create estimates and cost plans for key client developments.
• Oversee project spend through valuations and cost reports, communicating variations clearly.
• Support nimble project management and clear decisions with excellent cost documentation and timely communication.
• Support the transparent settlement of construction disputes/loss and expense claims.
• Foster employee performance and growth through mentorship and leadership.

Requirements

• Experience as a Senior Cost Manager, preferably from a consultancy background.
• Experience in pre-contract cost management, budget control, and cost planning.
• Experience preparing and initiating change forms for discussion with project stakeholders.
• Knowledgeable on alternative construction materials.
• Chartered or on the path to becoming chartered.
• A degree or comparable experience in a project management or construction discipline.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to thrive in a dynamic environment, manage priorities and deadlines.
• Ability to build strong relationships with team and clients.
• Right to work in Germany.
