About the Role
The Treasury Operations Senior Analyst will contribute to building and deploying a secure, scalable, and efficient global funding and cash management platform. This role supports customer promises, safeguards assets, and facilitates payment process improvements and administrative support for business growth.
Responsibilities
- Support and manage all aspects of the settlement payment process, including overseeing the full life cycle of payments.
- Create tracking systems, confirm approvals, and facilitate the settlement of trades, wires, and transfer payments.
- Oversee cash management activities, including corporate cash management, daily cash monitoring, and managing funds available for investment.
- Assist with end-of-day cash reconciliations and support external teams for compliance and regulatory requests.
- Support global intercompany funding, revenue transfers, and transfer pricing settlement activities, collaborating closely with the accounting team on monthly settlements.
- Manage the safeguarding of client funds, understanding local regulations and developing timely and well-documented processes.
- Provide assistance with bank account opening requests and KYC, along with managing relationships with local partner banks.
- Interact with and support Treasury Operations teams around the globe across multiple Remitly offices.
- Collaborate on ad hoc treasury projects, partnering with finance, accounting, FP&A, Tax, Legal, and IT.
- Drive system efficiencies, scalability, and automation through process improvements, using Kyriba, the TMS platform.
Requirements
- 5+ years working in a payments or FinTech environment with an understanding of the full payment lifecycle.
- Understanding of FX markets and trade settlements.
- Familiarity with banking portals and Treasury Management Systems (preferably Kyriba).
- Account opening, KYC, bank documentation experience.
- Strong understanding of treasury controls, risk mitigation, and safeguarding frameworks in regulated environments.
- Ability to work with global teams/remote locations.
- Experience or exposure to AI tools, automation, or data-driven process enhancements is a plus.
