About the Role
We are looking for a Creative Strategist (Paid) to own paid content strategy for a portfolio of accounts, leading creative testing roadmaps, hook architectures, creator partnerships, and refresh cadences that drive belief and growth for the brands we work with. You will be the day-to-day paid creative owner clients rely on, translating platform insights into actionable briefs for creative and media teams. You will partner with Senior Paid Managers on complex projects and guide a small team.
Responsibilities
- Own paid creative strategy for a portfolio of accounts, from creative audit to testing roadmap to refresh cadence.
- Serve as the day-to-day paid creative counterpart for clients.
- Maintain high standards for the paid work produced by the team.
- Build paid creative systems including hook architectures, format frameworks, refresh cadences, creator partnerships, and signal design.
- Generate innovative ideas, transforming insights into engaging concepts suitable for various formats, platforms, and audiences.
- Execute testing roadmaps and use learnings to inform future creative sprints.
- Develop briefs that facilitate high-quality creative output and provide optimal signal to the algorithm.
- Stay informed about platform trends, creator culture, and successful in-feed content.
- Involve Execs and Associates in the creative process, providing feedback and elevating the quality of work.
- Foster creativity within the team and support their professional development.
- Collaborate with Senior Paid Managers and Heads on major accounts and pitches.
- Partner with paid media leadership on creative-to-buying handoffs and measurement frameworks.
- Present and engage confidently with senior client stakeholders.
- Liaise with organic content, social, and influencer leads to ensure cohesive paid content strategy across the entire lifecycle.
- Translate brand strategy into buildable paid creative systems for creative teams.
Requirements
- 5–7 years of experience in paid social creative or performance creative at a social, creative, or paid specialist agency.
- Demonstrated experience with a portfolio of shipped paid creative systems, from brief to market launch with measurable results.
- Deep understanding of platform-specific paid creative strategies.
- Strong writing and conceptualization skills, with a proven ability to create effective briefs, decks, hooks, and concepts.
- Proven ability to manage and gain trust from senior clients.
- Proficiency in AI tools for hook ideation, variant generation, and production workflows.
- Ability to interpret paid performance data and design creative optimized for algorithmic engagement.
- Pragmatic approach to creative delivery, balancing speed and quality.
- Ability to enhance team performance and contribute positively to the team environment.
