About the Role
The HR Business Partner will collaborate with the HR and management teams to support key objectives within the people agenda. This role combines organizational understanding with HR expertise to deliver tailored business solutions and effective interventions for current and future organizational needs. The HR Business Partner will provide commercially focused and pragmatic solutions for all employment-related matters, ensuring consistent integration of people plans and coaching managers to foster positive employee relationships.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate commercially as part of business area management teams, influencing the development and delivery of the people strategy to support business objectives.
- Manage relationships and expectations to provide proactive, commercially sound insights and flexible solutions for HR challenges.
- Advise and coach managers on employee relations issues, including disciplinary, grievance, and capability matters.
- Support the implementation of change management initiatives, including acquisitions and business transformation projects, minimizing ER impacts.
- Understand and apply the company's compensation approach; manage compensation review and benchmarking activities.
- Create and contribute to policy and process development to ensure compliance with legal and regulatory frameworks.
- Design and deliver Management Information (MI), interpret trends for HR initiatives, and present data to senior management.
- Advise and oversee recruitment within the business area, ensuring an exceptional end-to-end recruitment and onboarding experience.
- Collaborate with Finance to track and manage headcount budget.
- Assist the HR Operations team to meet performance objectives and deliver a commercial, customer-focused approach.
- Help build a high-performance culture that reinforces values and behaviors, underpinned by strong performance management.
Requirements
- In-depth knowledge of UK employment law and experience resolving complex people-related issues.
- Understanding of the regulatory framework affecting financial services.
- Strong commercial and business acumen to assess risk and opportunities.
