About the Role

This position oversees the planning, execution, and improvement of marketing strategies optimized for the Japanese market to achieve sales growth, market share expansion, and improved profitability for Medline Japan. The role ensures the effective delivery of product and solution value to customers while collaborating with internal departments to drive demand generation and portfolio growth. It encompasses brand, product marketing, digital, events, promotions, pricing strategies, and marketing operations, with responsibility for improving sales, gross profit, pipeline creation, customer awareness, and NPS.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute marketing strategies for the Japanese market.
  • Lead demand generation initiatives across various segments through digital marketing, events, KOL collaboration, and educational programs.
  • Optimize commercial conditions, including pricing and discount structures, in collaboration with Sales and Finance.
  • Manage marketing budgets, analyze performance, and provide insights for management decisions.
  • Enhance market insights and intelligence by integrating customer feedback, purchasing data, and sales information.
  • Foster cross-departmental collaboration with Sales, Clinical/Education, RAQA, SCM, and Customer Service to ensure a seamless customer experience.
  • Collaborate with global and regional teams to adapt global assets and share local best practices.
  • Develop and mentor the marketing team through goal setting, performance evaluation, and team building.
  • Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and internal policies.

Requirements

  • Over 7 years of marketing experience in the medical device, medical supplies, or healthcare industry, including leadership experience.
  • Proven track record of driving sales growth and improving profitability through pricing strategies, programs, and portfolio management.
  • Experience in achieving results through cross-departmental collaboration (e.g., Sales, Finance, Operations).
  • Data-driven decision-making ability with experience in KPI design, analysis, and improvement cycles.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
