About the Role
The Japan IT Country Head is responsible for all aspects of information technology for State Street Trust and Banking Co., Ltd. Japan, overseeing technology service delivery and managing local teams across various IT functions. This role also involves ensuring overall IT governance and leading the IT Steering Committee.
Responsibilities
- Ensuring IT services are aligned to support the needs of business units and corporate functions in Japan.
- Assisting the business in strategy formulation and aligning IT services to support the business strategy.
- Managing multiple application development teams in the design, development, testing, and implementation of application software.
- Providing technical oversight leadership and direction for multiple system design, development, and implementation initiatives.
- Working closely with technology teams to ensure services align with business needs and tracking delivery against service levels.
- Ensuring projects are tracking to budget and plan.
- Providing overall legal entity oversight for regulatory compliance related to all aspects of Information Technology.
