About the Role
This role offers a career-defining opportunity for a Senior Structural Engineer to accelerate development, broaden technical exposure, and work on complex, high-profile buildings in the UK. You will join an organization at the forefront of the new Building Safety Regime, working directly with the Building Safety Regulator on Higher Risk Buildings and large commercial projects.
Responsibilities
- Act as a technical authority on structural compliance, staying ahead of industry developments.
- Support the delivery of structural engineering services across a wide range of complex building types.
- Work closely with the HSE/BSR on Higher Risk Buildings under framework agreements.
- Provide expert advice to commercial clients on structural design and UK Building Regulations.
- Review structural assessments, drawings, and calculations to ensure compliance.
- Build strong relationships with major design consultants, project stakeholders, and internal teams.
- Maintain accurate project and inspection records.
- Contribute to internal and external training, sharing expertise.
- Support Associate Directors and Managing Engineers in delivering high-quality technical outcomes.
Requirements
- Degree (or equivalent) in Structural Engineering.
- Ideally working towards Chartered status.
- Strong technical judgement.
- Ability to work independently.

- Confidence in supporting and developing others.
- A strategic thinker who can balance detail with broader project objectives.
- Solid understanding of commercial Building Control and structural safety.
