About the Role

Volunteer at any of our Red Cross Shops, helping to sort new donated and recycled merchandise and give back to the community. This role offers the opportunity to enhance skills, gain new experiences, and support vulnerable people across Australia.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service and process sales.
• Create window and visual merchandising displays.
• Sort donations and price products for sale.
• Contribute skills to help raise money for those in need.

Requirements

• No experience is necessary.
• All training is provided.
• Identify and understand current and future risks involved in undertaking your role and service delivery activities, then competently manage those risks so that everyone is safe.
• Comply with the Work Health and Safety management system.

• Red Cross Shops sell new and donated clothes, accessories and homewares to raise funds to help people in need.
• Each year, we rescue 2750 tonnes of clothing from landfill, give opportunities to 5000 volunteers, and generate funds to help Red Cross support vulnerable people in Australia and around the world.
