About the Role
The Site Manager is responsible for the day-to-day management of construction and high-rise cladding projects, ensuring works are completed safely, on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards. The role involves coordinating subcontractors, managing site operations, monitoring progress, maintaining health and safety compliance, and ensuring all cladding installation activities meet project specifications, building regulations, and client requirements.
Responsibilities
- Planning and supervising site activities
- Conducting site inspections
- Managing labour and materials
- Liaising with clients, consultants, and contractors
- Maintaining accurate project records
- Leading site teams
- Driving programme delivery
- Identifying and mitigating risks
- Ensuring high standards of workmanship throughout all phases of the project
Requirements
- Proven experience managing construction and high-rise façade/cladding projects
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Thorough understanding of health and safety legislation
- Thorough understanding of quality control processes
- Thorough understanding of construction best practices
Education Level
- SMSTS
- CSCS (Management Level)
- First Aid certification
