About the Role
We are seeking a hands-on Maintenance Officer for our Macquarie Park site. This casual role offers flexibility, ideally around three days per week, and the chance to apply your trade skills in a meaningful, purpose-driven environment. You will perform preventative and reactive maintenance on buildings, plant, equipment, furniture, fittings, and paintwork. Responsibilities include logging and managing tasks via CMMS, assisting with asset management, and collaborating with staff and contractors to ensure the site remains safe, functional, and welcoming. This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy practical work, problem-solving, and seeing the direct impact of their efforts, offering consistent, rewarding work without a full-time commitment.
Responsibilities
- Carry out a mix of preventative and reactive maintenance across buildings, plant, equipment, furniture, fittings, and paintwork.
- Log and manage tasks through our CMMS.
- Assist with asset management.
- Work closely with staff and contractors to ensure the site remains safe, functional, and welcoming.
Requirements
- Solid maintenance experience.
- A trade background or relevant qualifications will be highly regarded.
- Experience working with contractors.
- Confidence using Microsoft 365 and a CMMS.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- A current driver’s license.
- Experience in aged care or healthcare is desirable but not essential.
- Successful candidates will undergo background checks including criminal history, reference checks, and where applicable, WWCC, NDIS screening, and a pre-employment medical.

- $33.14–$37.43 per hour (incl. casual loading)
